Welcome to NeoMusic. By downloading, installing, or using the NeoMusic application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Description of Service

NeoMusic is a high-performance, cyberpunk-inspired Android music player built using Jetpack Compose and custom Canvas rendering. The App is designed for offline use and functions as a local media player for files stored on your device.

2. Intellectual Property

  • App Content: All custom UI elements, the "Neo" theme, 30+ custom neon color definitions, and the SpectrumAudioProcessor logic are the intellectual property of Tashila Pathum.
  • User Content: NeoMusic does not claim ownership of the music files you play through the App. You represent and warrant that you have the legal right to use and play the audio files stored on your device.

3. License to Use

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to use NeoMusic for personal, non-commercial purposes on any compatible Android device that you own or control.

You may not:

  • Decompile, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of the App (unless permitted by an Open Source license).
  • Use the App to infringe upon the copyrights of others.

4. Limitation of Liability

NeoMusic is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind.

  • Local Data: We are not responsible for the loss, corruption, or unauthorized access of any music files on your device.
  • Device Performance: While optimized for performance, we are not liable for any device overheating, battery drain, or hardware issues resulting from the use of the high-performance Canvas rendering.

5. No Data Collection

As outlined in our Privacy Policy, NeoMusic is a zero-data application. We do not store your data, and therefore, we cannot recover any custom playlists or settings if you uninstall the App or clear your device cache.

6. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to our App immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update our Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
